Chalet Description Chalet Claire-Marie is located in the charming alpine village of ‘Les Granges’ in the Belleville valley at an altitude of 1650m. The village nestles into the side of the mountain on a sunny plateau midway between the resorts of Saint Martin de Belleville and Les Menuires with Val Thorens at the head of the valley. This detached chalet is spacious but cosy and is ideal for families or a group of friends to share. The chalet has a large sunny covered terrace and a private fenced garden. There is private off road parking for 3 cars and additional parking close by if required.

Guest Accommodation

Chalet Claire-Marie sleeps up to 10 guests in 8 bedrooms. There are 3 single bedrooms in the chalet ideal for teenagers or individual friends sharing a chalet holiday.

Accommodation Description

The bedrooms are on 3 floors in the following locations:

• 1st floor - 1 double bedroom and en-suite bathroom, bath with shower and heated towel rail.
• 2nd floor - The 2nd floor is divided into 2 suites:
  Suite 1: Double bedroom, 2 single bedrooms bathroom with twin hand basins, heated towel rail, bath with shower and separate wc.
  Suite 2: Double bedroom, 1 child’s bedroom, 1 twin bedroom with bunk beds, bathroom with twin hand basins, heated towel rail, bath with shower and separate wc.
• 3rd floor - Twin bedroom with en-suite shower and wc. This bedroom can also accommodate an extra child’s bed or cot is required.

Amenities

All beds are made with duvets and quality linen with ample pillows and large bath towels are provided. Bathrooms have guest soaps and shower gel made in Provence from herbs and lavender. There are hair dryers, iron and ironing board and laundry facilities for guests’ use. Telephone, Fax and internet access are available at extra charge Sitting Room and Dining Room The sitting room and dining room are on the first floor. Comfortable and well furnished by the owners with many personal touches that make Chalet Claire-Marie a ‘home from home’ and different from the average chalet holiday. Large picture windows either side of the open fire provide stunning views across the valley. French doors from both the sitting room and dining room lead out onto the sunny covered terrace and access the private garden

Mezzanine

On the second floor is a cosy mezzanine with SkyTV, DVD, video and a library of videos, DVD’s books and games. There is a good selection are books, games and toys for our younger guests.

A large L-shaped sofa features in the mezzanine, perfect for relaxing after a day’s skiing to watch a movie, play one of our great selection of board games or just listen to your favourite music. Large windows create a space of light and warmth and offer fabulous panoramic views.

Ski Equipment

Your own or rental there is plenty of secure storage for your equipment and a boot warmer to dry wet boots after skiing and to warm them before you start skiing…..a good example of the pampering you get on your holiday at Chalet Claire-Marie.
