Catering at Chalet Chalet-Marie

At Chalet Claire-Marie we have a tradition of serving excellent food and wine. We plan our menus according to our guests’ personal tastes and dietary requirements, or our chef will make suggestions using only the best fresh produce available. We will be happy to discuss menus for your group before your arrival.

Children’s supper is available at any earlier time if required and our chef has a selection of fresh healthy options designed to tempt the appetites of our young guests.

Our chef has one night off during the week (usually Thursday) when you have the opportunity to try one of the local restaurants. We will drive you to the restaurant of your choice and arrange transport for your return. A continental buffet-style breakfast will be served and afternoon tea with bread and cakes will be waiting on your return to the chalet.

Breakfast

Start the day with a cooked breakfast served with eggs of your choice accompanied by bacon, tomatoes and fresh mushrooms or choose a healthy option of home made fruit compote and muesli.

A selection of juices, yoghurts, cereals and fresh fruit is served every day with fresh croissants and bread from the local bakery and a choice of preserves and local honey.

Afternoon Tea

On your return from the slopes a roaring fire will be waiting for you and Tea will be served with a tempting freshly baked cake. Our speciality cakes include White chocolate and vanilla, Carrot cake with carrot jam and mascarpone filling, Chocolate cake with caramel crunch and a Ginger spice cake with preserved ginger. Home made scones with strawberry preserve and mascarpone whipped cream filling are a firm favourite.

Dinner

Relax by the fire and enjoy an aperitif served with a selection of canapés. A four course dinner will follow.

  • Walnut crusted goat cheese with caramelized apple and watercress oil
  • Duck breast with a port and orange jus, potato gratin and seasonal vegetables
  • Hazelnut and chocolate meringue filled with a chocolate mousse
  • A selection of cheeses with nuts and fruit
  • Coffee or a choice of herb teas or infusions, chocolates and a digestif

Chalet Bar

A complimentary pre-dinner drink and wine with dinner are included in the price of your accommodation.

We are licensed to sell alcohol and the chalet bar is well stocked with drinks at competitive prices. We also have a selection of wines and champagne for purchase in our wine cave.
