Chalet Claire-Marie is a large detached private chalet, and is owned by your chalet host Sylvia Savage who lives year round in the Bellville valley.
The chalet is furnished to a high standard with many personal touches which make it a 'home from home'. Sylvia has been welcoming guests to her chalet in the 3 valleys since 1995 and many guests return year after year.
Chalet Claire Marie is registered with the Tourist Office and local authorities.
Chalet Claire-Marie is situated in the Belleville Valley in centre of the charming old alpine village of 'Les Granges' at an altitude of 1650m.The village sits on a sunny south facing plateau midway between the 3-valley resorts of Saint Martin de Belleville and Les Menuires. These two resorts are part of the vast 3 valleys which include the resorts of Val Thorens (the highest ski resort in Europe), Meribel, Courchevel, and La Tania, making it the largest linked ski area in the world, with 600 km of prepared pistes.
Chalet Claire-Marie is only 5 minutes away from the nearest ski lifts at St Martin de Belleville or Les Menuires and access to this amazing and unique ski region.

The resorts of Saint Martin de Belleville and Les Menuires offer a complete contrast in both atmosphere and facilities. From Saint Martin de Belleville with quaint streets baroque church, boutiques and restaurants to Les Menuires with its contemporary bell tower, enclosed shopping complex, restaurants, cinemas, swimming pool and leisure centre.
he famous 'la Bouitte' restaurant (2 Michelin star) is located in the village of St.Marcel is just next to the village of 'Les Granges'.

Guest Accommodation
The chalet can accommodate 6 - 8 guests.
There are two suites each with a double bedroom and private bathroom on the 2nd floor and a double en-suite bedroom on the first floor.
Each suite can accommodate 3 persons.

The chalet sitting room has an open fire with a comfortable sofa and arm chairs. The adjacent dining room can seat up to 12 guests. From the sitting room and dining room there are wonderful views of the valley and both rooms have French doors leading out onto a large sunny covered terrace and a private enclosed garden.

On the second floor is a cosy mezzanine with 'free view' TV, DVD, video and a library of videos, DVD's, books and games. The mezzanine is a perfect place for relaxing after a day's skiing to watch a movie or watch TV. Large windows create a space of light and warmth and offer fabulous panoramic views.

Reservations
Chalet Claire-Marie offers you the option of Bed and Breakfast or catered accommodation and the opportunity to book a short stay, weekend or week's holiday arriving and departing on the day of your choice.

Arrivals & departures
Rooms are available from 2pm on the day of your arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the day of your departure unless by prior arrangement.
If you wish ski before your accommodation is ready or after checking out of your room on the day or your departure you may request to leave your luggage at the chalet.

At Chalet Claire-Marie there is private off road parking for up to 4 cars.
